When I look out of the window, I see the gray that has become typical for December. I see this as symptomatic of the situation as a whole: the many crises have not disappeared into thin air. At CubeServ, we will therefore be focusing on communicating clear messages in the coming year.
There are so many gold nuggets in the data. We are committed to helping you turn these gold nuggets into added value. In a perfect world, data from different databases can be easily linked and shared. Everyone in the company can be a controller: recognize, explain, and recommend. But it’s often not that simple in reality. New data sources first have to be integrated into the data lake or data warehouse and processed. And this requires a change, which in turn needs approval from the change board … Do you know this?
We at CubeServ have developed the concept of the business analytics platform for this: all relevant data sources can be used together: ad hoc, in a sandbox, or even quality-assured in maintained loading runs. The existing implementations are not yet perfect. However, they show us that they increase the added value for the user enormously. Ideas can be implemented as prototypes in a short space of time and later transformed into stable data products. Such a change does not happen overnight. As a first step, you should write down your goals, revise your data strategy, and begin this exciting stage with your team. “Tree for a business card” – with this invitation, we motivated our stand visitors at the DSAG Technology Days 2022 to make contact in the spirit of sustainability.
On November 18, we then put our promise into practice: Planting apple trees, collecting orchards, and pruning trees – together with Naturefund e. V. we were busy shoveling, collecting, and pruning and had a lot of fun along the way.
