Bottom line however is, that companies who invested into Business Partnering, agile processes and appropriate Software are better at managing the current crisis and feel more confident with their planning results.<\/p>\n<h2>L<b>et\u2019s look exemplary at Forecasting and Scenario-Planning:<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>In the traditional way, these are two separate topics. They are very likely run by different Teams with different background and knowledge. Forecasting is run at regular intervals and Scenario-Planning rather on-demand. While there is a Software solution in place for Planning\/Budgeting\/Forecasting, Scenario-planning might be an Excel solution.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-e3c0aac elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"e3c0aac\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-200d94b\" data-id=\"200d94b\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-87f1a39 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"87f1a39\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p id=\"tw-target-text\" class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Translation\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"hr\">Me\u0111utim, hitno je potrebno prije\u0107i s ju\u010der na danas. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Translation\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"hr\">Okolnosti ili osnova za prognozu mijenjaju se tako brzo da je u osnovi nemogu\u0107e do\u0107i do \u010dvrste prognoze na temelju povijesnih podataka. The Teams need to change as well from a pure FP&amp;A or Business Team to a Team with Senior, cross-functional experts who focus on a few but the right business drivers and KPI\u2019s.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This Team acts swiftly and frequently runs the Forecast and has the Market and Business knowledge to run appropriate Scenarios. <br \/>Additional dedicated teams are still needed for deep dive analysis and forecasting on a granular level. <br \/>All above needs to be supported by an agile Software solution which can be run and operated independently by the business.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Just take a moment and try to reflect this to your current situation<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">Are you able to put together such a Team at short notice?<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Do you know the few but important and right business drivers?<\/li>\n<li>Can you measure them?<\/li>\n<li>Do you have a software solution which does support you in finding the right drivers?<\/li>\n<li>Does this solution support Predictive topics, Scenario-based planning, and the usual Forecast?
